4.3 Improper Transport

4.4 Inclined Surfaces

It is possible that components/parts may be delivered disassembled for transport reasons. Necessary
assembly components are included in the scope of supply. Take care that all items are received. For
the transport of the pump set, the manufacturer can provide a transport cage. In this case the pump
set should be lifted as shown. Add approx. 200lbs for the transport cage to the net weight which can
be found on the dimensional drawing or the data sheet.

Caution! Damage due to improper transport. Improper
transport may cause material damage.
Therefore:
When unloading the packed device at the time of the
delivery as well as during intra-company transport,
handle it carefully and follow the symbols and
instructions of the package.
Remove the packaging just before installation.
Warning! Danger to life due to uncontrolled movement of the
device.
The unpacked device may slide automatically if it is kept on
inclined surfaces.
Therefore:
Transport the device only on horizontal surfaces.
Without a transport cage, choose positions which are
suitable for fastening lifting devices. Use only sound lifting
equipment. Use caution when transporting the pump set.
The pump set can be top heavy and should be handled
carefully to prevent tipping over.
