Measures To Be Taken In Case of a Hazard and an Accident

Preventative Measures
•
Always be prepared for accidents and fires.
•
Ensure that fire extinguishers are functioning properly and stored at a reachable point.
•
Train the personnel for handling accident notification, first-aid and rescue devices.
•
Keep the access routes free for rescue vehicles.
EMO – Emergency Mains Off (to be installed by others)
•
Stop the device immediately using the Machine stop EMO.
•
Rescue the persons from the danger zone.
•
Initiate first-aid measures.
•
Notify the rescue service.
•
Inform the on-site in-charge.
•
Make the access routes free for rescue vehicles.
In hazardous situations, stop components from moving or turning as quickly as possible and switch off
the power supply. Proceed as follows in case of an emergency:
1. Stop the device immediately using the Machine stop.
2. If there is no risk to your health, rescue the persons from the danger zone.
3. If required, initiate first-aid measures.
4. Contact the fire brigade and/or rescue service
5. Inform the on-site in-charge.
6. Switch off the device and secure against re-starting.
7. Make the access routes free for rescue vehicles.
8. Guide the rescue vehicles.
9. Inform competent authorities if it is essential owing to the severity of the emergency situation.
10. Appoint an expert to rectify the faults.
11. Before re-commissioning, check the device and ensure that all safety devices have been installed
and are functioning properly.
12. Unlock the machine stop using a key.

2.10 Environmental Protection

The package is made of easily separable mono-materials. They are eco-friendly and reusable.
Therefore, contact a specialist recycling agency to dispose of the packaging material.
