Component Descriptions
• Lighting Zone Controller (LZC)
- Supplies power and control signal to Lutron 3-wire fluorescent dimming ballasts and fixtures.
- Switches a maximum of 16 A of incandescent, electronic low-voltage, magnetic low-voltage, neon/cold cathode,
fluorescent, HID, and motor loads (1/3 HP @ 120 V
- Dims a maximum of 16 A of fluorescent light load using Lutron's 3-wire phase control dimming ballasts, based
on information from the Digital microWATT server or eLumen manager, occupant and daylight sensors, and
wallstations or control station devices; other load types can be dimmed using an interface.
- See "Models Available" table on front cover for individual product ratings.
• Wall Control
- Allows occupants to manually turn on or off those lights controlled by the LZC, or to dim and brighten the lights.
• Occupant Sensor
- Allows the LZC to dim the lights to a predetermined level or turn off the lights when the occupant sensor detects
an unoccupied area.
- The LZC will automatically turn the lights back on when the occupant sensor detects that the area has become
occupied again.
• Daylight Sensor
- Allows the LZC to subtly and automatically change the light level as the daylight sensor detects changes in the
availability of sunlight in the area.
