Allowed transport conditions
Before transport, empty the liquid coolant from the liquid-cooled
motors to avoid frost damage.
NOTICE
Mounted components (e.g. KTY84, encoder) can contain
parts susceptible to electrical discharge (ESD).
Observe the ESD safety measures.
WARNING
Only use hoisting gear suited for the weight of the
motors. Use the eyebolts provided on the housing to lift
the motor. All lifting eye bolts must be used and
tightened before use.
Never walk under hanging loads.
Do not lift the motor at the shaft or - when using MAD
motors - on the fan housing.
Use suitable protective equipment and protective
clothing during transport, and wear safety shoes.
Please comply with DIN 580 on the transport of motors using
lifting eyebolts. Non-observance of the information in this
standard can cause overstress to the lifting eye bolts and result in
personal injury and/or product damage.
