Power cable connection at the ter‐
minal box

The output direction of the power cable can be selected by means of the type
code of the motor. According to the definition by the user about outgoing di‐
rection, the terminal box is mounted on the motor at the factory. The cable
output direction on the terminal box can be adjusted by the user when re‐
quired.
Connecting the power cable to the terminal box requires the following steps:
1.
Open terminal box lid ①.
Loosen and remove the mounting screws (4 pieces).
Cover
Seal
Terminal block U-V-W
PE connection
O-ring
Adapter plate mounting screws
Safety cover of cable gland connection thread
Adapter plate for cable gland
Terminal strip (brake, temperature sensor)
Purge gas connection (Option)
Clamping screws for setting the outgoing cable direction
(4 pcs.)

Check cable output direction and if necessary turn the terminal box.
Lossen terminal boxes
Loosen the fastening screws ⑪ and turn the terminal box by 90 up
to 180 degree into the required output direction.
Fasten terminal boxes
Screw in and thighten ⑪ the fastening screws.
Tightening torque of the screws ⑪: 6.5 Nm (±10%)
⇒ A sealing is between terminal box and motor housing. After turning or
before retightening the terminal box, check the proper condition and po‐
sition of the sealing.
