3.2.1 — BEFORE 1st USE: ATTACH YOUR REGULATOR

• Make sure equipment is clean and free from damage.
• Make sure the On/Off Lever of the Qlixbi connector is closed
(red lever down).
• Work area should be clean (without dust, grease, particles and liquid).
• Install the regulator at the outlet of the Qlixbi connector by
tightening the fitting according to the regulator instructions
(The fittings must be clean).
• A support point shall be obtained by inserting a 14 mm
spanner upstream of the outlet fitting of the Qlixbi connector; Use
of such spanner will prevent damage to the Qlixbi connector while
ensuring a satisfactory tightness of the pressure regulator,
especially with metal to metal sealing.
• Handle counterclockwise the pressure regulator knob.
1. Before you start to couple the connector to the cylinder, select a well
ventilated area, preferably in an area protected from the effects of bad
weather.
2. Make sure your equipment is clean and in good condition (If necessary,
clean the docking port and Qlixbi inlet connection with a clean dry
cloth only).
3. If the cylinder is new, break the warranty seal on the cover cap if any.
4. Open the cover cap and check the cleanliness of the docking port
(if necessary, clean it with a clean, dry cloth).
5. Check there are no objects inside the reserve indicator that could
prevent the connection.
6. The On/Off Lever must be in the closed position.
7. Direct the Qlixbi connector to the top of the docking port and press
firmly downwards on the top of the connector. Ensure you attach the
Qlixbi connector vertically.
8. The Qlixbi connector rotates through 360° so you can position the
regulator in any direction.
Warning
For safety reasons, in case of incomplete coupling,
the On/Off Lever is automatically locked.
In this case, do not apply force to the lever.
Repeat the complete sequence:
• Make sure there is no blocking element (particles, etc)
around the docking port or in the Qlixbi inlet connection.
• Direct the Qlixbi connector to the top of the docking port
(vertical approach) and press firmly.
• If the On/Off Lever is still locked, call Energas.
