3.7 — CRANING THE CYLINDER
• Under NO circumstances should the equipment be lifted with the connector coupled.
• An appropriate and safe snap hook or strap or sling should be used to lift the packaged gas equipment.
• Lifting the cylinder using a workshop crane shall be limited to a max height of 1 metre above the ground.
• Slinging of the cylinder above personnel and other equipment is forbidden.
• Guiding of the cylinder during the slinging is mandatory to limit its swinging.
• Lifting (equipment, conditions...) is under the customer' s liability.
• During lifting, special care should be taken not to damage the Qlixbi cylinder package, in particular no lifting equipment should
come in contact with the valve or its accessories (e.g. reserve indicator) and no lifting shall be done with the connector coupled.
• Make sure your equipment is in good condition i.e. valve guard not damaged and well fixed.
3.8 — STORE THE CONNECTOR
• Use suitable packaging to protect the Qlixbi connector against exterior pollution during storage and transport.
• Store the Qlixbi connector safely from dust and moisture, by temperature range between -20°C and +65°C.

Maintenance
4.1 — PROCEDURE TO CLEAN THE PRODUCTS
• Do not use a high pressure jet to clean the Qlixbi cylinders and connectors.
• Use a soft, dry cloth (not wet) to clean the plastic and metal surface.
• Never use petrol, benzene or any other chemicals to clean the connectors.
• Never use corrosive substances or ammonia or any leak detector containing such substances.
• If the connector will not be used for a long period of time, store it in a dry place.
Maintenance and Repairs
Please contact Energas customer support if you think your Qlixbi connector or cylinder is faulty.
Qlixbi products should only be repaired by an Energas authorised person. Please do not
attempt any repair on any Qlixbi Products.
Only maintenance tasks with specific Energas instructions conveyed to you by Energas in
writing may be undertaken on any Qlixbi Connectors.
