• Check the red lever is firmly in the down position.
• Push up the Qlixbi R paddles at the top of the connector by pinching
the paddles and the cover, and uncouple vertically the Qlixbi R from the
cylinder.
• At this step. the Qlixbi connector is purged automatically, a noise may
occur.
Important Note
During the uncoupling process a noise due to the gas purge
may occur. This noise is normal and will cease when the
connector is released.
Tips
When the cylinder pressure is above 250 bar, it may be
more difficult to uncouple the connector to the cylinder due
to the purge. To make this operation easier, it is advised to
purge the connector through the welding machine and/
or the welding torch. In case of difficulties, refer to the
troubleshooting section.
• The disconnection is only possible when the purge process is
completed.
Warning
Be sure to maintain the Qlixbi R by the paddles during the
uncoupling phase.
In any case, never apply an excessive strength on the
connector to uncouple it from the cylinder.
• Your Qlixbi connector stays with you. Simply re-couple your Qlixbi to a
new cylinder, or store your Qlixbi in a dust-free, dry place. Preferably, turn
the flow rate to 0 before re-coupling your Qlixbi to a new cylinder.
• Replace the cover cap of the cylinder on the reserve indicator after
usage.
