The synchronisation bus is connected

Control unit RK MultiControl II duo/RK MultiControl II quadro
If a stop function (safety edge or stop input switch)
is required for a sync BUS system, the stop func-
tion must be connected to the master control unit.
The collision detection (SPP) function can be acti-
vated, configured and used on every control unit in
the sync BUS system.
This function searches for connected control units
Ä Page 158 and activates the bus connection.
This function cannot be activated when drive group
management is activated.
Call up the menu via "Control" ® "Sync-BUS settings" ®
"Start search for slave controls" (Fig. 107).
ð All the connected control units are reset.
The number of connected control units is
determined and displayed by the master
control unit (Fig. 108/
In the process, an address between 1
and 7 is assigned to each connected
slave control unit. This number is dis-
played by the slave control units on the
display screen as soon as a hand switch
is connected.
In addition the total number of all con-
nected drives is determined and dis-
played (Fig. 108/ ).
