The achievable sensitivity for collision detection (SPP) depends on
the overall system.
A practical detection threshold cannot be determined until final
application. A detection threshold which is greater than 0 mA, must
be defined for both directions of travel.
Collision detection (SPP) is considerably less sensitive in the direc-
tion of force than in the opposite direction (e.g. when lifting loads).
This performance is improved by using parameter 99
to set the collision detection in the direction of force and increasing
the detection sensitivity.
This is only practical for systems on which there is only a risk of
collision in one direction.
Control unit RK MultiControl II duo/RK MultiControl II quadro
Select the direction of travel "Extend" or "Retract" (in this
case: "Retract" , Fig. 105).
Select "Deactivate" for the selected direction of travel
(Fig. 106).
ð Collision detection has been deactivated.
Alternatively, set a detection threshold of
0 mA for every direction of travel using
action step 3.
