Keys, Modes, and Parameters
The purpose of the keypad is to provide a way to
change modes and parameters. The term
applies to both monitoring modes and parameters.
These are all accessible through

are separated into related groups identifiable by the
left-most character, as the table shows.

NOTE: The inverter 7-segment display shows lower case "b" and "d", meaning the same
as the upper case letters "B" and "D" used in this manual (for uniformity "A" to "F").
The inverter automatically switches into Monitor
Mode when you access "D" Group functions. It
switches into Program Mode when you access any
other group, because they all have editable
parameters. Error codes use the "E" Group, and
appear automatically when a fault event occurs.
"P" group appears when DeviceNet communication
is available. Refer to
History, &
Conditions" on page 6-5 for error code
details.
