MainROM configuration
Entering BootROM/MainROM configuration
There are two methods of selecting the ROM to configure:
Method 1
1.
Unplug the line cord (RJ-45 connector) from the jack underneath the
set and wait ten seconds.
2.
Re-insert the line cord back into the jack.
Within four seconds of reconnecting the line cord, press ˙ and ®

simultaneously until BootROM/MainROM appears on the display.
Select ROM to execute
BootROM MainROM
You can now press either BootROM or MainROM, depending upon
which ROM you want to configure.
Method 2
While the set is operating normally (in MainROM), press Setup in

the idle screen display.
Press the digits fi⁄ ⁄‡ to activate the special setup menus.

Press more... until BootROM appears.
3.
Press BootROM. After a few seconds the display is blanked.
4,
Press ˙ and ® simultaneously until BootROM/MainROM appears on

the display.
Select ROM to execute
BootROM MainROM
You can now press either BootROM or MainROM, depending upon
which ROM you want to configure.
