QuickTouch Preset Handheld
Manual
The Manual screen contains rows of channels on the top of the screen and configuration and
movement options on the bottom of the screen. The right and left sides of the screen have ENABLE
and VELOCITY indicator bars, respectively. The ENABLE bar illuminates when the Deadman trigger
is held down, indicating that the Deadman circuit is enabled and motors are ready for movement.
The VELOCITY bar is separated into blue (upper) and green (lower) halves. When pressing the
joystick in the up direction, the VELOCITY bar indicates the rate of movement in the blue area.
Likewise, pressing the joystick in the down direction indicates the rate of movement in the green
area.
Move Motors Manually
To move a motor manually, perform the following steps:
1.
Select the channel or channels that you want to move.
2.
Press and hold the Deadman trigger button. The ENABLE bar on the left side of the screen
illuminates.
3.
Push the joystick in the up or down direction to move the selected motors.
4.
Release the joystick and Deadman trigger when the motor reaches the intended destination.
Perform Target Moves
To perform a target move follow these steps:
1.
Select one or more channels that you want to move to a specific target and then press the
editable Target field in the properties area.
2.
In the Edit Target Position dialog that appears, enter the target destination and press Ok.
3.
Press and hold the Deadman trigger to move to the target destination.
Note:
QuickTouch Preset Handheld
You can use the joystick to affect the rate of movement during a target move.
