QuickTouch Preset Handheld
Configure OSC for Presets
From the Presets screen, select a preset and press the Options button to access the Preset Options
dialog. From here, you can configure OSC commands to send based on preset actions.
Send OSC Command When Loading a Preset
You can use the loading of a preset to send Open Sound Control (OSC) commands to other controls
in the system. To associate an OSC command to a preset, perform the following steps:

Press the "Options" button. The Preset Options dialog appears.

In the Preset Loaded field, enter the OSC command you want sent when the selected preset is
loaded.
Send OSC Commands On Preset Button Actions
You can use the four button event fields from the Button OSC Commands dialog to send OSC
commands to an external controller when the button event occurs. These button events are only
triggered from the Panel Preset screen or from the Presets tab on the Manual screen of a Foundation
controller.
Pressed: When a preset is not selected (button border not highlighted) and you press the

Released: When a preset is not selected (button border not highlighted) and you release the

preset button
Pressed Selected: When a preset is selected (button border highlighted) and you press the

preset button
Released Selected: When a preset is selected (button border highlighted) and you release the
•
preset button

From the Presets screen, select a preset and press the Options button.

Press the Edit Button OSC button.
3.
Using the Edit OSC Command dialog, enter OSC commands in the fields corresponding to the
Pressed, Released, Pressed Selected and Released Selected actions.
Use OSC Commands for Preset Display Actions
A number of visual feedback indicators can be triggered when an OSC command is received from an
external controller. These indicators are only visible from the Panel Preset screen.
If the external device you are using is not capable of communicating using these standard preset
commands, you can use the following fields to map the incoming OSC to the standard messages.
Selected: The outline of the preset button is highlighted or removed depending on the

argument used
Set Selected: The outline of the preset button is highlighted
•
Unset Selected: The selection outline of the preset button is removed
•
Selected Color: The outline selection of the preset button changes color
•
Comment: A comment appears on the preset button
•
Progress: A progress bar appears on the preset button
•
Clear: Any outlines, colors, comments, and progress bars are removed
•
