Fold
the
top
boot over the reor
seot
bock.
Open the zipper ond
core{ullY fold
the reor window into the
top
storoge
well.
To
prevent possible binding
or
drog,
lower
the
side windows
slightly.
Releose
the front top
heoder
to
windshield
heoder lotches
by
lifting
the
lotch
bock
ond up (Fig.
1).
Turn
the ignition key
to the left
or
preferobly
stort
the
engine
to
moin-
toin
bottery efficiency.
Push
ihe
top
conlrol
switch
to the left or
down
posi-
tion ond hold until the
top
is
com-
pletely lowered
into the top well.

the right ond hold

until the

heoder
comes
within

few
inches
of
the
windshield heoder. Close
the
zip-
per on the reor window ond

the
sides

the curtoin

engoge
the
lock
mesh
seol.
Push
ond hold the
switch
to
the
right
until the
front
of
the
top
rests
on
the
windshield
heoder. Index
the
dowels
into the
sockets
ond
press
the
lotches
down ond forword
to
secure
the top to the
heoder.
CARE
AND
CLEANING
OF
TOP
MATERIAL
Frequent
light
brushing
with
o
whisk
broom
will
keep dust
ond
dirt
from
embedding
in the
top
moteriol.
Wosh
the
top
with worm woter
ond
o
mild
soop, lothering
it
well with
o
cleon
sponge.
Rinse
the
top
thoroughly
with
cleon
woter
to
remove
oll
troces
of
soop.
Allow
top to dry
completely
be-
fore
lowering.
