Geor Alignment
To
obtoin correct
steering
geor
olignment,
loosen
the
housing
mount-
ing bolts
iust enough
to
ollow the
geor
to
shi{t

the
side
sill ond line up
ot
the
ongle determined
by the
height
setting
o{ the
iocket
tube
brocket.
Shims
moy
be
ploced between
the
steering
geor
housing
ond
mounting
surfoce,
if
necessory,
to
secure
sotis-
foctory
olignment.
Tighten
the
mounting
bolts.
Loosen
the
iocket
tube
brocket,
ollow
it
to
motch
the geor
column
position,
ond
tig hten.
The steering
geor
olignment
should
be
inspected
ond
corrected,
if
neces-
sory,
prior
to
performing steering
geor'
od
justment operotions.
