• Carbon deposits
Use a rounded scraper (1).
2. Inspect:
• Cylinder water jacket
Crust of minerals /Rust -»• Remove.
• Cylinder wall
Wear/Scratches->Rebore or replace.

• Cylinder bore "C"
Out of specification ^-Rebore.
Use a Cylinder Bore Gauge

• Piston outside diameter "P"
Out of specification-^ Replace.
Use a Micrometer (1).
NOTE:
Measurement should be made at a point 10 mm
(0.4 in) above the bottom edge of the piston.
