YPVS Control Unit Test
1. Remove:
• Fuel tank
2. Disconnect:
• One lead Q) (Black/White) (from YPVS
control unit)
CDI unit
(6) YPVS control unit
Servomotor

3. Connect:
• One lead (D( Red/Black) (from CDI unit)
• One lead (3) (Black/White) (from YPVS
control unit)
Use a jump
4. Start the engine, and increase revolution to
3, 000 r/min.
5. Check:
• Servomotor operation
Mulfunction -* Replace control unit.
Mulfunction ->• Replace YPVS control
unit.
Good operation ^ Replace CDI unit.
