CHARGING SYSTEM
Charging Coil Resistance Test
1. Remove:
• Fuel tank
2. Disconnect:
• 3-pin connector (Sky blue, White and
Yellow/Red) (from CDI magneto)
• 2-pin connector (Brown and Black)
(from CDI magneto)
3. Connect:
• Pocket Tester (90890-03104)
Set the tester setector to "Ohm x 1"
position.
4. Measure:
• Charging coil resistance
Out of Specification — Replace.

0.43 [2 ± 20% at20°aC (68°F)
