Moderating Conference Calls
Conference moderators (indicated on the conference listing by an 'M'
before the participant's name) have special control over other
participants: moderators can hang up on, mute, give moderator status to,
and take away moderator status from participants – all directly from their
M5 phone. Participants not using M5 phones can be assigned moderator
status manually:
Press more.
Press List.
Choose the desired conference participant by using the scroll button
and Select, or the keypad, then perform the desired action:
Press HangUp or Mute to hang up on or mute a participant
Press RoleUp to grant moderator status or RoleDn to revoke
moderator status for a participant not using an M5 phone.
By default, all M5 phones are automatically given moderator status.
Additionally, conference calls will continue even after all moderators hang up.
Both of these settings can be changed by request.
