the meter read). This information will then print out on the AutoRead Route Note report
providing for easy correction of these accounts in billing.Please refer to

If none of these options are enabled, the model AR5000 HHD will react in the same
fashion as the AR4000 model.
1. These check boxes are identical to their counter-parts on the AR400X tab. Please refer
to numbers 27-31 for explanations of each parameter.
2. User-defined Function
notes and manual reads, performing route searches, etc; the AR5000 series HHDs
use function buttons labeled F1-F12 (located at the top of the keypad on the HHD).
These may be configured according to user preference by using the drop-down boxes
located beside each Function number, or restored to default settings using the

Unchecked The HHD will automatically search the route for that
Meter ID and a message stating Not at displayed
location or Meter not on route! will appear momentarily.

Unchecked The user is prompted to either search the route for that
Meter ID or apply the reading to the current location.
Checked The HHD will automatically search the route for that
Meter ID and if not found, will prompt the user to either
store that reading as a non-route meter or apply the
reading to the current location.
Checked The user will first be prompted to either search the
route for that Meter ID or apply the reading to the
current location. If
ID cannot be found on the route, an additional prompt
will appear to either store that reading as a non-route
meter or apply the reading to the current location.
