Follow SSIs Default Reading Direction
Manual Read Length controls the width from 1 to 9. A value of 0 tells the SSI to follow its
Default Maximum Characters of Reading setting in the Polling Device settings in AutoRead.

Note 4 -Meter Definition Codes -
If billing is unable to provide separate records with a unique meter ID for each record on
meters that require multiple reads such as a compound meter, they can instead pass a
Meter Definition Code. The meter definition code will create the number of extra records
indicated below with the meter ID followed by (letter). For example, a meter definition code
of D on the meter ID 12345678 would create one extra meter record in AutoRead with a
meter ID of 12345678(D). The high, low and previous reads would not be applicable to the
extra records.
N: Normal
Number of extra records = 0
U: Usage
Which is normal for Oasis/In-Hance-Utility Solutions
Number of extra records = 0
P: Production
Which is normal for Oasis/In-Hance-Utility Solutions
Number of extra records = 0
D: Demand
One normal meter and one demand meter
Number of extra records=1, Letter D
K: KVAR
One normal meter, one demand, and one KVAR
Number of extra records = 2, Letters D and K
C: Compound
One normal and one low flow
Number of extra records=1, Letter L
Blank-If no Meter Definition imported for a meter, it is assumed to be Normal
