Cleaning the combustion chamber and rotary grate

1. Undo the locking screw on front panel
page 42.
Pull front panel down slightly from the top and
unhook it.
2. Open combustion chamber door
3. Remove and clean thermal insulation block
Clean the combustion chamber including the com-
bustion chamber fire bricks with a spatula and vac-
uum cleaner.
4. Undo the nuts and remove the ash removal main-
tenance cover.

■ The position switch and the end position of the
grate are checked visually.
■ The grate must be horizontal in its end position.
Cleaning the rotary grate:
Switch on the system. Do not start the boiler.
■
■ Rotate the rotary grate by 180° with the help of
the actuator test.
■ Isolate the system from the power supply and
check that it is no longer live.
Safeguard the system against reconnection.
Clean rotary grate with a brush.
■
Refit the ash removal maintenance cover.
■
Note
The grate can be switched via "Actuator test" in
the "Service" menu.
