Maintenance and cleaning work on the boiler
Danger
Risk of crushing or entanglement due to rotating
and moving parts.
Do not reach in through the maintenance cov-
ers.
Do not remove any protective covers.
Danger
Wood dust, pellet dust, cinders and soot pose a
risk to the eyes, skin and airways.
Wear suitable personal protective equipment,
especially breathing equipment and safety gog-
gles.
Overview of maintenance and cleaning work in the boiler
Activity
Empty the ash box
Clean flue gas fan, Lambda probe and flue gas
temperature sensor
Clean flue gas collector chamber and heat ex-
changer
Clean combustion chamber and rotary grate
Check rotary grate limit position
Clean the ignition pipe
Clean the ash chamber and ash removal parts
Clean pellet hopper, vacuum module and ventila-
tion apertures of rotary lock valve
Clean strainer and pellet sensor in the pellet hop-
per
Check expansion vessel and system pressure
Check gaskets
Clean flue system and check it is working cor-
rectly
Emissions testing
Lubricate the drive chains and drive unit bearings
Replace battery in the control unit
Maintenance confirmation and reset (control unit)
Note
The maintenance and cleaning intervals are intended
as a guide that can be adapted, if required, to the fuel
quality and operating conditions.

Before restarting the heating system, all opened cov-
ers and flaps on the boiler must be closed again.
