Required tools and accessories:
• For instruments with safety pin for the lid: AF 3 Allen key
• Wire stripping pliers
• When using stranded wires: Wire end sleeves.

1. Loosen the screw of the securing clamp of the connection compartment cover and turn
the clamp 90° counterclockwise.
2. Unscrew the connection compartment cover.
3. Push the cable through the cable entry. To ensure tight sealing, do not remove the sealing
ring from the cable entry.
4. Strip the cable.
5. Strip the cable ends 10 mm (0.4 in). For stranded cables, also attach wire end ferrules.
6. Firmly tighten the cable glands.
