SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM

The safety interlock system prevents opening of the lid when the rotor is spinning.

stops spinning. The "Lid Open" indicator turns on to warn the user if the lid is not closed properly.
NOTE: If power failure occurs, access to the samples is possible by opening the lid with a special
tool. Please see the manual lid opening section (3.6.) for further information.

IMBALANCE DETECTION SYSTEM

The imbalance detection system of the NF 1200 / NF 1200 R centrifuges operates
electronically when an unacceptable imbalance occurs. In this case the brake is applied
immediately.
The "Err 1" imbalance error is displayed and the imbalance indicator turns on. The lid can not
be opened until the rotor stops spinning. The centrifuge can only be started after the lid has
been opened and the rotor has been re-loaded correctly.
To avoid facing imbalance problem, please make sure to insert the tubes correctly.
