2. Remove the Belt Guard by loosening and removing the three M10 Belt
Guard Retaining Bolts.
3. Line up a straight edge along the out side face of both pulleys. (See
Figure: Pulley Alignment to the right.)
4. Misalignment will show up as a gap between the pulley face and the
straight edge.
5. To correct the misalignment move one pulley in or out as required.
Main Causes of Belt Failures:
Premature Belt failure can be attributed to the following issues: Tension (too much
or too little), Pulley Misalignment, Damaged Pulleys, Improper Handling or
Storage, Incorrect Blade Specification for Material Being Cut, and Cutting Too
Deep.
