INTRODUCTION

Caddy
R R R R
Mig C160i is inverter based, portable semiautomatic welder in a compact
design, intended for solid steel welding.
The possibility of welding with homogeneous wire/shielding gas and welding with
gasless tubular wire is obtained by switching the + and -- connections on the
switching terminal close to the wire feed unit.
Basic wire diameter is 0,8 mm, though 0,6 and 1,0 mm are also applicable -- it
depends on work--piece size and material. As shielding gas the ArCO
may be used.
The Caddy
Mig C160i draws current with near--unity power factor which produces
R
very low level harmonics in mains.
ESAB's accessories for the product can be found on page 226.
