Cleaning and adjustment of base conveyor

Adjust the conveyor belt so that it is centrally clamped. All rolls are preferably parallel and
right-angled to adjust to the belt axis. The correction of the belt running is carried out by
adjusting the drive and deflection rollers. The rolls on which the base conveyor is running
have to be adjusted.
Cleaning of conveyor belts
Residues at base conveyor complicate the lateral belt run. At the bottom side of the base
conveyor, dirt, label rests or small parts may get onto the rollers and tip.
The base conveyor and adjacent assembly parts have to be cleaned regularly and
carefully.

Procedure
Remove foreign objects and much dirt, particularly in the area of the

Examine the drive rollers and deflection rollers for excessive wear.
A jerk run is an indication for clamping unit or a belt tension that is too weak.
Check if the drive belts and conveyor belts run without jerk.
Check if the deflection- and drive rollers align and examine the wear of
available flanged pulleys.
Check that the conveyor belts do not run sideways.
Check the distances to other system parts.
Check the oil- and grease lubrication at flange bearings and the drive motor
block.
Oil and lubricate the flange bearings and the drive motor block according to
