IMPORTANT: The following charts are guides to select-
ing the pump that is compatible with the fluid you will be
pumping. These recommendations are based solely on
the materials of pump construction (refer to the Technical
Data on pages 31–35). It is the responsibility of the user
to follow the recommendations of the fluid manufacturer
and any local, state, and federal guidelines for safe han-
dling of a particular fluid. Read and follow all warnings re-
garding fluid use and compatibility given in this manual.

Safe Operating Temperature
Minimum: 40 F (4.4 C); Maximum: 150 F (66 C)
These temperatures are based upon mechanical
stress only and may be significantly altered by
pumping certain chemicals. Consult engineering
guides for chemical compatibilities and temperature
limits, or contact Graco T

This chart is only a guide to selecting the pump and dia-
phragm material which is compatible with the fluid you
are pumping. Always read and follow the fluid supplier's
recommendations on material and fluid compatibility.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of serious bodily injury and prop-
erty damage from component rupture, always fol-
low these precautions:
1. Never use fluids in this pump which are not
compatible with the wetted parts listed in the
Technical Data on pages 31–35, or with the
diaphragm of this pump.
2. Read and follow all warnings regarding USING

Polypropylene is glass–filled and not suitable for
pumping hydrofluoric acid.
Contact with any acids or exposure to acid fumes will
damage the acetal and stainless steel non–wetted
parts of the polypropylene pumps.
