Projector profiles contain the power settings for the RGB laser light source. You can create multiple
projector profiles to manage varying screen sizes, brightness requirements, room temperatures, and
types of content (such as 2D, 3D, and alternative content).

Configuring the laser power settings using LiteLOC

2.0
To ensure color and brightness are held at the required levels for your installation, Christie
recommends enabling LiteLOC version 2.0 for each laser configuration you create. When you set the
required brightness, LiteLOC 2.0 maintains color and only decreases brightness if the system requires
it.
When LiteLOC 2.0 is enabled, the projector issues a warning when the brightness target is decreased
due to laser limits being reached.
1. To indicate the maximum expected room temperature, select MENU > Configuration > Light
& Output Settings > Max Ambient Temperature.
2. Use the slider to increase and decrease the maximum ambient temperature and select Enter.
The system uses the maximum expected room temperature to calculate the light output. The
default maximum expected room temperature setting is 35° C. A lower room temperature
generally results in increased brightness and better efficiency. A higher room temperature
reduces the maximum power setting available for the lasers. The maximum expected room
temperature setting must reflect anticipated operating conditions.
3. To enable LiteLOC version 2.0, select MENU > Configuration > Light & Output Settings >
LiteLOC.
4. Select LiteLOC 2.0.
5. To set the color of white you want to achieve from the laser, entered the required White X and
White Y values.
6. To control the brightness, select Master Laser Power and use the slider to increase or
decrease the value.
7. If wanted, the laser settings can be saved to projector profiles (on page 51).

Configuring the laser power settings using LiteLOC

1.0
If LiteLOC 2.0 is not available, Christie recommends enabling LiteLOC 1.0 for each laser configuration
you create to ensure color and brightness are held at the required levels for your installation.
The maximum power limit for red changes according to the value set for the maximum expected room
temperature. For red, green, and blue power levels, system stability may be affected if levels are set
below the minimum power limit shown.
1. If LiteLOC 1.0 is enabled and you want to adjust the set point, you must first disable LiteLOC
by selecting MENU > Configuration > Light & Output Settings > LiteLOC > LiteLOC
disabled from the display panel.
2. Enable the white test pattern for LiteLOC setup by selecting MENU > Test Pattern
3. Scroll through the list of test patterns and select White.
4. To confirm your selection, select Enter.
5. To indicate the maximum expected room temperature, select MENU > Configuration > Light
& Output Settings > Max Ambient Temperature.
