Control Modes

There are 2 modes:

One ACT Fresnel (Manual Control)

01) Fasten the effect light to a firm trussing. Leave at least 0,5 meter on all sides for air circulation.
02) Secure the device with a safety cable (order code 70140 / 70141).
03) Plug the end of the electric mains power cord into a proper electric power supply socket.
When the ACT Fresnel is not connected with a DMX cable, it functions as a stand-alone device. It can
be controlled via the manual dimmer control or the menu settings.
Manual control via the manual dimmer control
01) Select the option Rotary Knob in the Manual Settings menu. Refer to 2. Manual Settings on
page 18 for more information.
02) Exit the submenu and return to the start screen. The start screen shows now the following:
03) Turn the manual dimmer control (15) to adjust the intensity of the light. The adjustment range is
between 0 and 255 (from 0 to 100 %). The current value of the dimmer is displayed on the screen.
Note: If you do not return to the start screen you cannot adjust the dimmer. The manual dimmer
control (15) is not functional, if you do not exit the menu and return to the start screen.
Note: In this mode you can control only the intensity of the light. It is not possible to add a strobe effect.
Manual control via the menu settings
01) Select the option Manually Defined in the Manual Settings menu. Refer to 2. Manual Settings on
page 18 for more information.
02) Select values for the Dimmer and the Strobe in the Fixture Test menu. Refer to 5.1 Manually Defined
on page 19 for more information.
03) Exit the submenu and return to the start screen to activate the manual settings. The start screen
shows now the following:
Note: If you do not return to the start screen, the manual settings will not be activated.
