Water Supply Connections


Water Inlet Specifications:
o
Inlet water pressure: 0.7 to 4.8 bars
o
Maximum temperature: 30°C
o
For models SKE4-E05 to SKE4-E80: DN8 standard copper water line
connection
o
For models SKE4-E90 to SKE4-E120: DN15 standard copper water line
connection

Water Supply Line Installation:
For models SKE4-E05 to SKE4-E80:
1. Connect the DN8 water supply braided hose (supplied) to the bottom of the DN8
NPT fitting (supplied).
2. Connect the top of the DN8 NPT fitting to the male threaded part of the pipe and
tighten it with fingers.
For models SKE4-E90 to SKE4-E120:
1. Connect the DN15 water supply braided hose (supplied) to the bottom of the
DN15 NPT fitting (supplied).
2. Connect the top of the DN15 NPT fitting to the male threaded part of the pipe and
tighten it with fingers.

In order to facilitate servicing, install a shutoff valve (not supplied) in the water supply line
close to the humidifier.

It is recommended to install a standard water strainer in the water supply line.

It is recommended to install a water hammer arrestor, in order to absorb hydraulic shock
and minimize water hammer when the fill valve closes.
CAUTION: Risk of damage. Do not use wrench to tighten swivel.
