6.2 Adding a Video Input IP Transmitter to a Configuration

This process can be used for any of the Video over IP input chassis. In an open Blueprint configuration do the following.

Click Show Library.

Click the All Manufacturers.

Select Savant.

In the Search bar type VIMAP.

Select the Video Input IP Transmitter that is needed and drag it into

a Shared Equipment zone.

HELPFUL INFO:

It is recommended to place any type of A/V switch in a Shared

Equipment zone. If placed in a User zone the outputs cannot leave

that zone.

Name the Device.

Place the Video IP Transmitter in the layout window.

Select the Video Input IP Transmitter.

Open Inspector.

10. Enter the UID.

11. Make the AVB connection.

NOTE: This connection can only be made to a AVB switch.
