Replacing the Ramming Shoe

Requirements
Removal

Torque wrench
Lifting device capable of lifting the machine
Perform the procedure below to remove the shoe.
Support the machine with a lifting device capable of lifting the weight
of the machine. See chapter
On machines with cast iron shoes, remove the hex head screws
and
that hold the shoe

Raise the machine off the shoe. Position the machine in a secure
place.
Remove the plow bolts

Separate the shoe
