The following command example creates a customer VLAN named
ID of 100. Ports 1 and 2 in slot 6 are assigned to the VLAN.
create vlan acme
config vlan acme tag 100
config vlan acme add ports 6:1-2 tagged

Enabling and Disabling IP Forwarding

ExtremeWare allows IP forwarding to be enabled on a per-VLAN basis. To enable IP
forwarding on a specific VLAN, use the following command:
enable ipforwarding {vlan <name>}

The following command example enables IP forwarding on a VLAN named
enable ipforwarding acme
To disable IP forwarding on a specific VLAN, use the following command:
disable ipforwarding {vlan <name>}
The following command example disables IP forwarding on a VLAN named
disable ipforwarding acme

parameter is the name of the VLAN you created.
parameter is the number assigned to the VLAN. The valid numerical range
parameter specifies one or more ports assigned to the VLAN.
keyword configures the ports as tagged or untagged.
keyword prevents the switch from forwarding broadcast, multicast,
parameter is the name of the VLAN you created.
