procedure, except for when re-entering the vehicle while the engine is running;

Press unlock
2.
Open then close all doors.

You have 1.5 minutes (or 3 minutes) to press on the brake pedal, to get
in gear and drive off.
Note 1: Pressing on the brake pedal after the allocated (1.5 or 3-min.) period will
shut the engine down.
Note 2: The engine will continue running until the user re-enters the vehicle or
until the expiration of the run time.
Note 3: If the pre-programmed run-time expires or if the user shuts down the
engine remotely, the vehicle will enter Ready Mode automatically (manual
transmissions only).
Caution!! Do not leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle standing in Idle
Mode.

Valet Mode

When the vehicle is in Valet Mode, the remote starter and alarm functionalities
are disabled. If the vehicle needs to be serviced, or if you park it indoors, Valet
Mode will prevent the engine from being remote-started accidentally.
Any of the following features will put the remote car starter into Valet
Mode:
Ignition Valet: This feature allows you to set Valet Mode using the ignition key.
Remote Valet: This feature allows you to set Valet Mode using the transmitter.
Using the KEY (Ignition Valet Mode):
1.
Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch. Within 10 sec., cycle the
ignition key to the IGNITION/RUN and OFF positions 5 times until the
parking lights flash 3 times.
2.
Turn the ignition OFF.
3.
The LED on the antenna will stay ON indicating that the vehicle has
successfully entered Valet mode.
