5. Disconnect the power and controller cables from the hard drive.
(See the following figure.) If the mounting assembly that con-
tains the drive has a ground wire attached, disconnect it.

6. Slide the drive out toward the front.
7. Remove the drive from its mounting assembly by removing all
necessary screws.
8. Verify that the jumpers on the replacement drive are configured
to match the removed one, if the same type, or per the accompa-
nying documentation, if a different type.
9. Install the drive by reversing the removal procedure.
10. When the new drive has been installed, replace the node's cover,
then plug the power cord back into the unit and the AC outlet.
11. Switch the unit on. When (after a few seconds)
+ S> to enter Setup after Memory Check
of the screen, press (simultaneously)
system memory has been checked, a screen similar to the fol-
lowing will be displayed.
