5. Remove drain plug.
6. Unscrew filler plug.

1. Remove the engine service cover
to reach the front cylinder.
1. Front spark plug of V-twin engine
2. Open the cargo box to reach the
rear cylinder.

1. Unplug spark plug cable.
2. Clean spark plug area with pres-
surized air before removing spark
plug.
3. Unscrew spark plug completely us-
ing a spark plug socket, then re-
move it.

1. Prior to installation make sure that
the contact surface of cylinder
head and spark plug is free of
grime.
2. Using a feeler gauge, set the spark
plug gap.
