The compact spare tire is smaller than
the standard tire. Vehicle ground
clearance is reduced with the compact
spare tire installed. Avoid driving over
obstacles and do not wash your vehicle
through an automatic car wash with a
compact spare tire installed.
Your compact spare tire is specially
designed for your Perodua. Do not install
it to any other vehicle.
Conversely, do not install compact spare
tires from other vehicles to your Perodua.
NOTE
The compact spare tire fitted to this
vehicle must have a maximum load rating
not less than 450 kg, or a load index of 80
and a speed category symbol not less
than M (130 km/h).
WARNING
Do not drive In excess of 80 km/h
(50 mph) with the compact spare
tire Installed.
Avoid
rapid
acceleration,
hard braking and hard cornering.
The compact spare tire is for
temporary use only. The standard
spare tire should be repaired and
replaced as soon as possible.
Do not install more than one com­
pact spare tire at the same time.
To remove
install the tire
I
1. Insert the flat section of the extension
jack handle wrapped with cloth or the
like under the center cap or the wheel
cap.
Here, this insertion should be made to
the rib section, avoiding the opening
section of the wheel cap.
Pry with the jack handle end to remove
the center cap or wheel cap.
