A.B.S. (Anti-lock Braking System)
warning light
(9)
This light will go on when the ignition is turned
"ON" and go out a few seconds later.
The following conditions indicate that the
A.B.S. (Anti-lock braking system) is likely
malfunctioning.
When the ignition switch is turned "ON",
the light fails to go on or remains in a glow
state.
After the light has extinguished, it lights
up again.
The light glows while driving.
Have the system checked by an authorized
Perodua Service Centre immediately.

WARNING
If both the A.B.S. warning light and
brake warning light should remain illu
minated and fall to go out, there is the
possibility that the braking forces would
drop drastically. Immediately stop your
vehicle at a safe place and contact an
authorized Perodua Service Centre.
CAUTION
When both this light and the brake warn
ing light go on at the same time, the anti
lock brake system may be malfunction
ing. In addition, there is the possibility that
the vehicle becomes unstable when hard
braking is applied. Immediately park your
car at a safe place and contact an author
ized Perodua Service Centre.
NOTE
Even in cases where the warning light
remains illuminated and fails to go out
after the engine has started or during
the running period, the normal brake
performance is retained. (The brake
system is no longer functioning as
A.B.S.) However, immediately have
your car checked by an authorized
Perodua Service Centre.
Although the warning light is illumi
nated for several seconds at the time
of the engine starting, the system is
functioning normally if the light goes
out soon and it will not go on afterward
while running.
When the engine switch is set to the
"ON" position, the light goes on for
several seconds for the system check
and then goes out.
