Chock the tire, located diagonally opposite
to the flat tire, at the opposite end. This is the
most effective location for a chock.
For improved safety, chock back and forth of
the tire, if possible.
CAUTION
When your vehicle has a flat tire on the
front wheel, never use the emergency
spare tire on the front wheel.

When your vehicle has a flat tire on the
front wheel, be sure to mount the
emergency spare tire on the rear wheel,
and then, the removed rear tire should
be moved to the front wheel.

Loosen /tighten the attaching bolt to remove
/ secure the spare tire.
Place the spare tire as shown in the
illustration to store.
Precautions for compact spare tire

Drive slowly on rough, unpaved roads or
over bumps to avoid severe shocks.
As the compact spare tire has high air
pressure, it is prone to receive severe
shocks, resulting in wheel disk damage.
