Instructions on seat belts

Perodua recommends that all occupants be
properly restrained with a seat belt provided.
Observe the following precautions for proper
function of the seat belt. Failure to do so
could result in serious bodily injury in an
accident or sudden braking. Check the belt
system periodically and if any seat belt fails
to function properly, have the system checked
immediately by an authorized Perodua Serv
ice Centre.
Child:
We recommend children sit in the rear seat
and be restrained with a seat belt. According
to accident statistics, children are safer when
properly restrained in the rear seat than in the
front seat.
Do not allow them to stand up or kneel on
the seat.
Do not hold a child in your arms. In an
accident, a child held in your arms could
be crushed between the vehicle interior
and you.

face of a front seat passenger, move the seat

The lap belt should be worn securely and as
low as possible over the hips, not on the
