There are Instances where the oc
cupants get abrasions, burned or
bruised due to the operation of the
air bag.
If you get abrasions or blister, con
sult with your doctor Immediately.
The gas which expand the air bags
contains a minute amount of stimu
lant, but whose amount is not harm
ful to a normally healthy person.
However, this stimulant could be
harmful to persons with respira
tory problems and allergic diseases.
Therefore, when the air bags has
deployed, open the windows to in
troduce the fresh air Into the vehi
cle Interior, or get out of the vehi
cle, provided that the safety Is as
sured. Also, If you feel Irritation on
your skin, eyes, nose or throat, rinse
the Irritated area with cool water.
Breath the fresh air if your nose or
throat Is irritated. Then, consult with
your doctor If the Irritation contin
ues.

The SRS air bags will deflate immediately
after the air bag has fully inflated to restore
the visibility and steerability.
NOTE
When you need to move the vehicle away
from the accident site after inflation of the
SRS air bags, tuck the deflated SRS air
bag into the steering wheel to ensure easy
handling.
WARNING
Wash your hands with water after
you have tucked the deflated SRS
air bag.
Failure to observe this warning may
Irritate your hands.
Do not touch the inflator section of
the SRS air bags for 30 minutes
after the air bags has Inflated.
The inflator section may be ex
tremely hot immediately after the
SRS air bags has inflated. You may
get scalded seriously by touching
the section.
