Corrective Action
1. Verify gas shut-off valve is open
2. Verify gas line is at correct pressure
3. Verify gas valve test ports are closed
4. Verify differential pressure tube (at gas valve) is connected from port on combustion
air intake pipe to governor port on gas valve
5. Check for partially or fully blocked chimney system
6. Verify gas valve is wired correctly and receiving signal to open from ignition module
7. Verify wire harness continuity

8. Check for combustion blower failure
9. Gas valve air / fuel mixture may require adjustment – see "Testing Combustion" in
this manual
10. Verify chimney system lengths and number of elbows with the requirements of this
manual
11. Check for direct wind blowing onto vent termination
12. Verify vent termination(s) is in proper location as defined in by this manual
13. Check for trap pressure switch failure
14. Verify function of ignition module and flame sensor / spark ignitor

this manual. Possible symptom - run @ high fire, but not at low fire or vise versa

manual

12. Verify vent termination(s) is in proper location as defined in by this manual
13. Check for trap pressure switch failure
14. Verify function of ignition module and flame sensor / spark ignitor
1. Verify gas valve is wired correctly and receiving signal to open from ignition module

2. Verify wire harness continuity
3. Gas valve failed > Immediately replace gas valve
1. Verify to ensure pump is turning on and functioning properly.
2. Ensure system is pressurized and full of water.
3. Ensure all air is purged from system.
4. Check piping valves to ensure they are all open and not blocked.
5. Ensure piping and water is clean and free of dirt and debris and water meets the
NO
requirements listing in manual / warranty sheet.
FLOW
6. Check filters and/or dirt strainers and ensure no blockage. If blockage exists, clean.
7. Check for faulty flow switch. Check electrical continuity and proper function of paddle.
Replace flow switch if not functioning properly.
8. Ensure wiring is properly terminated between sensor and syncFURNACE OD controller.
