Purging Air From Syncfurnace Od - Gradient syncFURNACE mOD-200 Installation & Operation Manual

PURGING AIR FROM SYNCFURNACE OD:

Ensure Main Power to syncFURNACE OD is turned OFF! Ensure external piping system is complete and
inspected for leaks. Open isolation valves to allow water to fill into syncFURNACE OD.
Allow system to fill for several minutes. Once system is pressurized, open manual air bleeder at top of
fan-coil to bleed air and water from the internal piping. Purge the manual bleeder until only water comes
from the line. Repeat this sequence 3 times or until only water purges from the bleeder line. Once
complete go to furthest away tap and open hot water only to ensure hot water is taken through
syncFURNACE OD. Run for 5 minutes or until all air is purged from water heater inside syncFURNACE OD.
See below diagram for location of internal manual air bleed on fan-coil.
ENSURE GAS IS TURNED OFF BEFORE OPENING MANUAL AIR BLEEDER

Use caution when bleeding air from manual bleeder. Ensure water is at room temperature.
Ensure air-bleeder hose is secured and properly attached. Failure to comply could result in
hot water scalding and / or personal injury when opening manual bleeder.
