SIZER configuration tool
Overview
The SIZER configuration tool supports you in the technical dimensioning of the hardware and
firmware components required for a drive task.
SIZER supports the following configuration steps:
• Configuring the power supply
• Designing the motor and gearbox, including calculation of mechanical transmission
elements
• Configuring the drive components
• Compiling the required accessories
• Selecting the line-side and motor-side power options
The configuration process results in the following:
• A list of required components (export to Excel)
• Technical specifications of the system
• Characteristic curves
• Comments on system reactions
• Installation information of the drive and drive components
• Energy considerations of the configured drive systems
