Be sure to keep safety labels in good condition and replace any missing or damaged labels.
Caution must be exercised. Any work carried out on the hydraulic system must be performed in accordance with the machine manufacturers's approved maintenance instructions. Raven Industries recommends that appropriate protective equipment be worn at all times when working on the hydraulic system. When installing AutoBoom hydraulics or performing diagnostics, maintenance, or routine service, ensure precautions are taken to prevent any foreign material or contaminants from being introduced in the machine's hydraulic system.

PowerGlide Install the Pressure and Tank Hoses WARNING Hydraulics are under pressure. Care should always be taken with a system that has been pressurized. When disconnecting or purging hydraulic hoses, be aware that the hydraulic oil within the machine system may be extremely hot and under high pressure.
Chapter 3 To Install the Pressure and Tank Hoses Locate and disconnect the pressure hose from the right side of the machine’s stack valve. Note: This should be the port labeled ‘P’ (IN). If you cannot determine which line is the pressure line, trace back each line until you find the line that connects to the hydraulic pump.

Chapter 3 Mount the Gauge Wheels Note: Wheel mounting locations may be influenced by the boom configuration. Make sure that the wheels will not interfere with or be damaged while folding or unfolding the booms. Determine an appropriate location for mounting a wheel on the left boom. The wheel should be mounted outside of the boom fold but inside of the boom breakaway.

Chapter 3 Non-adjustable Boom FIGURE 15. Unbolt clamps holding wet boom to frame. Leave the clamps on the wet boom. Loosen hose clamp and disconnect hose. Remove wet boom assembly. Turn wet boom ½ turn (end to end) and re-install on back of boom to move wet boom to the rear. Re-install hose and tighten clamp.
PowerGlide Install the PowerGlide Wiring Wiring Connections CAUTION Do not reverse the power leads. Doing so will cause severe damage to the equipment. Always check to make sure that the power leads are connected with the correct polarity. Ensure that the power cable is the last cable to be connected.
Chapter 3 To Connect the Harness Cable Route the harness cable (P/N 115-0230-003) toward the machine’s cab. Connect the harness cable to the controller cable (P/N 115-0230-002). Tighten the connector screw cap to secure. Note: Be sure the allow enough slack in the harness cable to allow for boom racking. Connect the Controller Controller Connectors FIGURE 18.

UltraGlide Installing Center Sensor and Center Rack Control Front and Side View of Mounted Sensor FIGURE 12. Attach the Center Sensor (P/N 063-0130-018C) to the center section using the supplied U-bolts (P/N 107- 0171-611). Tighten the nuts (P/N 312-1001-164) to the U-bolts to secure the sensor. Plug the sensor cable into the center connector of the main AutoBoom cable Disconnect both upper and lower 6 pin connectors on right side of sprayer valve.
