  • Page 3 H A P T E R NTRODUCTION Congratulations on your purchase of the Raven Autoboom system! This system is designed to provide worry-free operation of your hydraulically controlled booms. The following in- structions are designed to assist you in the proper installation of the system hardware. The Autoboom hydraulic installation process is fairly straight forward and prior knowledge of the machine’s hydraulic system is beneficial.

    Not operate Autoboom or any agricultural equipment while under the influence alcohol or an illegal substance. Remain in the operator’s position in the machine at all times when Autoboom is engaged. Disable Autoboom when exiting from the operator’s seat and machine.

    Objects or materials that are able to bypass the machine’s hydraulic filtration system will adversely reduce performance and possibly damage the Autoboom hydraulic valves. Electrical Safety Precautions Do not reverse the power leads. Doing so will cause severe damage to the equipment.

  • Page 11 Right Up 9/16" JIC (F) 214-1000-327 7/16" JIC (F) 90° Load Sense Tee 7/16" JIC (F) Pressure and Tank Lines Tee into pressure and tank lines on machine manifold and connect to P (Filter) and T respectively on Autoboom vavle.
  • Page 12 Disconnect left Down line from machine manifold and connect to Inside LT CYL RTN. Remove hose connecting right Down port and steel line. Connect steel line to Inside RT CYL RTN port on Autoboom valve. Connect left and right Down ports on machine manifold to Outside LT CYL RTN and Outside RT CYL RTN ports respectively.

    Use the following diagrams to install the wiring harness. Be sure to allow enough slack in harness when racking booms. Connect power leads to battery. Insert boom sense tees into left and right up coil wires and connect to Autoboom main harness cable.
