4 FIELD MAINTENANCE
This section contains the essential information that the field engineer needs to clean,
maintain and fault find a SMART Coin System that is installed in a host machine.
The SMART Coin System has been designed to minimise any problems or performance
variations over time. This has been achieved by careful hardware and software
design; this attention to the design means there is very little user maintenance
required.
4.1 Detaching SMART Coin Feeder
The below pictures highlight the button location to detaching the different parts.
1. The Feeder can be detached from the Hopper pulling up the button.
2. Then Lift the lid of the feeder by lifting the front tab.
3. The feeder should now slide off the hopper as shown below.
4. Push the Feeder back until it stops and lift the Feed from the Hopper.
